ARTIST Mario Dueñas

Mario Dueñas was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. He grew up surrounded by magnificent historical buildings and beautiful calandrias.

Ever since he was a child he visited his grandparents hacienda in the countryside, located in the heart of the Mother Mountains, surrounded by nature on its biggest expression; horses, waterfalls, volcanoes, etc., but especially by the love of his great grandmother whose stories and tales have made of her a muse to him. Mario has always been a kid with a mind full of fantasy and creativity.

When he is awake he creates, when he sleeps he dreams of the most unimaginable creations, and as soon as the sun rises he finds ways to materialize them and turn them into Art.
A perfect example of this can be appreciated in his work in the form of paintings, sculptures, drawings,and art installations.

Mario formed himself as an artist being guided by the best Art Institutes in Mexico:
Cabañas Cultural Institute in Guadalajara, Jalisco
Cultural Institute of Fine Arts, Mexico City
Del Carmen, Cultural Institute
Jose Clemente Orosco Conservatory of Art.

At his arrival in USA Mario was guided by Miss Janeth Rooselvet, a fine American artist whose beginnings are remounted to the White House.
